Adding and editing an image to a template

This article was developed to describe the steps to take to add an image to a template and to edit an image in a template within the Centrex CRM.

Adding an image to a template

  1. Do either of the following:
    • From the Docs tab, click either Create A New HTML Document

    • From the E-Marketing tab, click Create Email Template.

  2. Locate and click the "Insert Image" image.png icon on the editor toolbar.

  3. Do either of the following:
    • If you have uploaded the image to the Files tab, use the Image list menu to select the correct image.
      NOTE
      To upload images or document templates before creating your template, see the Uploading files articles for directions.
    • If the image file is located on a different FTP server you can enter the URL for its location in the Source input.
  4. If desired, change the image size and proportions in the Dimensions fields.
    NOTE
    The image imports in its native size.
  5. Click the Advanced tab to view additional options that only affect the image if being viewed in an internet browser.

  6. When finished, click Ok.
    The image appears in the location the cursor is currently located in the edit window.

Editing an image in a template

  1. Click on the image you want to replace so it is highlighted.
  2. Do one of the following:
    • Click the "Image" image.png icon. 
    • Right-click on the image and select "Image" from the list of options that appear (see image). Image_Being_Edited_in_Template_Right_Click_Options.png
  3. Follow the steps in Adding an image to a template above.
